• Applicants must be citizens of the United States as of March 31, 2010.
• Applicants must meet residency preferences as of March 31, 2010.
• Applicants must be high school or vocational high school graduates, or possess an approved high school equivalent certificate by June 30, 2010.
• Applicants must be at least 18 but not over 35 (one is over 35 on the day after his or her 35th birthday) exceptions for veterans and volunteer firefighters.
• Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey.
The New Jersey Civil Service Commission 2010 Examination for Enforcement Exam (LEE) announcement will be issued on June 1, 2010. Please watch this site for latest information.

The Civil Service Commission plans to administer the LEE in the fall 2010.
The announcement, application and filing instructions will be available for you to print from our web site during the next filing period. A limited supply of printed copies will also be available at the public libraries, county and municipal law enforcement agencies, statewide NJ Department of Labor Employment Services Offices, and various community organizations throughout New Jersey.
